What is Peppi Card?
Peppi Card is a platform that gives your AI agents their own prepaid cards with real-time spending controls. You fund your account, create agent cards, and your agents can make purchases autonomously through our JIT authorization API. all within limits you set.
How does funding work?
You load funds into your Peppi Card Account via PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App. A 5% processing fee is applied to each load. Minimum load is $10. Funds are available to allocate to your agents immediately after approval.
How much does it cost to create an agent card?
Each agent card costs $4.99, which is deducted from your Peppi Card Account balance. There are no monthly fees. you only pay for loads and card creation.
Can I set spending limits per agent?
Yes. Each agent has configurable spending limits including per-transaction maximums, daily limits, and allocated balance caps. The JIT policy engine enforces all limits in real time before approving any purchase.
What is the JIT authorization API?
JIT (Just-In-Time) authorization is how your agents request permission to make a purchase. The agent calls our API with the amount and merchant. Our policy engine checks the request against your configured limits, and if approved, returns the card credentials needed to complete the purchase.
What is a skill file?
A skill file is a JSON configuration that you download after creating an agent card. It teaches your AI agent how to use the Peppi Card payment flow: request authorization → receive card details → complete purchase → settle transaction. It works with major agent frameworks like OpenAI Agents SDK.
Is my money safe?
Your funds are tracked through a double-entry ledger system that accounts for every cent. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, all traffic uses HTTPS, and session tokens are stored in secure HTTP-only cookies. We do not sell or share your financial data.
What happens if my agent tries to overspend?
The JIT policy engine will reject the transaction and return an error to the agent. No funds will be deducted. You can monitor declined requests from your dashboard.
Can I freeze an agent's card?
Yes. You can deactivate any agent from the dashboard at any time. Deactivated agents cannot make purchases until reactivated.
